Why Start?
It can help with

Building Resilience
Building resilience for mental health is crucial because it equips us with the ability to bounce back from adversity, cope with stress, and adapt to challenges effectively. Resilience not only enhances emotional well-being but also strengthens our overall mental health by fostering a positive mindset and reducing the impact of setbacks. It leads to improved self-confidence, better decision-making skills, and healthier relationships. Ultimately, building resilience empowers individuals to navigate life's ups and downs with greater ease and stability, promoting long-term mental wellness and a more fulfilling quality of life.
Boost To Physical Health
Regular physical activity, such as walking during counselling sessions, has numerous physical health benefits. It can improve cardiovascular health, boost energy levels, and contribute to better sleep patterns – all of which are crucial for overall well-being.

Thinking differently
When we move our bodies and shift our environment, we can think differently about aspects of our lives that have before seemed immovable. Being outdoors is a physically more relaxing experience for our bodies and, therefore, our minds may be freer to open up
Relieving Stress and Anxiety
Walking and talking can significantly reduce stress and anxiety by combining physical activity with open communication. The rhythmic movement of walking helps to relax the body and release tension, while engaging in conversation provides an outlet to express feelings and receive support. This dual approach not only promotes relaxation but also enhances mood, reduces cortisol levels, and fosters a sense of connection and well-being.
